The event promises a day of expert tips, real stories and plenty of inspiration, all in a relaxed, friendly setting designed to make the homebuying journey feel a little less daunting. Plus, enjoy drinks, snacks, and the chance to chat directly with the team helping people take their first steps towards homeownership. Children are also welcome, so feel free to bring the whole family as you plan your dream home.

The live event follows the launch of Southern Housing’s brand-new podcast series, Shared Ownership Unpacked, which offers a frank and accessible look at one of the country’s most talked-about routes to home ownership.
Hosted by Joe Bartlett, better known as ‘The Homebuyer Coach’, a UK mortgage expert and trusted voice for first-time buyers – alongside Rob Horne, Marketing Executive at Southern Housing, this six-part series dives into lively, honest conversations with some of the biggest names in Shared Ownership. Listeners will hear from Southern Housing’s own experts, Censeo Mortgage Advisors, and even a recent buyer from one of Southern’s developments, Home X in Brighton, as they all share real stories, honest insights and practical advice to help demystify the buying process
