Join Countryside Homes at Clapham Park for an insightful Mortgage Seminar Event

Countryside Homes is inviting prospective buyers to a mortgage seminar event at the highly sought-after Clapham Park development, offering insight into how homeownership in South West London could be more accessible than many expect. Taking place in the Sales and Marketing Suite on Wednesday 29th October from 4–7pm, the event will include expert-led talks, one-to-one advice and complimentary refreshments from a local favourite café.

Location: Marketing Suite, Clarence Avenue, Clapham Park, London, SW4 8FR

Attendees will hear from Heron Financial, who will demystify the financial processes involved in purchasing a home, followed by a session led by Countryside Homes, covering current market conditions and the lifestyle benefits of living in the Clapham area. The event will also introduce the Own New Rate Reducer scheme, an incentive widely available across all Countryside Homes developments.

Countryside Homes is working in partnership with Own New to support homebuyers in securing their dream home, introducing the Own New Rate Reducer scheme at Clapham Park. The Own New Rate Reducer scheme enables eligible buyers to access a lower mortgage interest rate from participating lenders for an initial two- or five-year term. This is made possible through a financial contribution from Countryside Homes, typically 3%, which Own New passes directly to the lender. The result is a more affordable monthly mortgage payment, with buyers retaining 100% ownership of their property.

A joint venture between Countryside Homes and Metropolitan Thames Valley Housing, Clapham Park is a new collection of one, tw  and three-bedroom homes sandwiched between the vibrant Clapham, Balham and Brixton areas. Inside, the homes feature herringbone Amtico flooring in Mulled Oak, underfloor heating throughout and high-specification integrated kitchen appliances. Each home is complete with a decked balcony or private terrace and security features such as a video door entry system for peace of mind.

Once complete, the wider development will be centred around a 300-metre long Central Park that spans the length of the site, offering plenty of green space. Buyers will also benefit from a community hub, sports pitch and podium gardens all on their doorstep.

The local area is a hive of activity. From weekly 5k park run events at Clapham Common, gallery visits at Studio Voltaire and thrift shopping on Northcote Road, there’s always something to enjoy close to home. Not to mention, the eclectic mix of shops, bars and restaurants at Abbeville Village, located just a 15-minute walk away. For outdoor space, Tooting Bec Common is a 6-minute cycle from home, offering woodland walks, tennis courts and London’s largest lido. Clapham Common and Brockwell Park are also nearby, an 18-minute walk and 8-minute cycle away respectively, offering lakeside strolls and regular events throughout the year.

Ideal for commuters, the development is located a short 13-minute walk from Clapham South tube station. From here, the Northern line offers fast routes into Central London with journeys to London Bridge in 16-minutes and Charring Cross in 19-minutes. It is also served by a number of local bus routes such as the 155 to Elephant and Castle or the 355 to Brixton. For those travelling by car, the location benefits from a number of road links, including the A3 and A23 connecting it with Central London to the north and the M25 to the South.
