Lynda Clark rediscovers Keybridge, in Vauxhall, where you buy into not just a home but a complete luxury lifestyle

As a south London girl I am always very excited to visit a development which is south of the river. Keybridge in Vauxhall did not disappoint – in fact I was more than impressed. These luxurious studio, one, two and three bedroom apartments and duplexes, in Zone 1+2, come with some amazing facilities including a pool, gym, working space, steam room, 24/7 concierge and underground parking – you couldn’t really ask for more!
I was meeting one on the residents, first time buyer Sandra who has recently bought a home there, to find out just what it was like to live in such a beautiful development.

Sandra is originally from America and she said, “As an American ex-pat living and working in London for a high-tech company, I began my property search shortly after receiving my indefinite leave to remain status. I spent five years living in London and was finally ready to put down permanent roots. I’d been told the buying journey would be quite different than the US so I started my search six months ahead of my rental lease renewal.  At the time I was renting nearby at Embassy Gardens and had already fallen in love with the Vauxhall and Nine Elms community.

“I viewed nearly 30 homes before I found the perfect choice for me at Keybridge. I immediately felt a connection as there was something about it that just felt like home. For commuters, you can get to Oxford Circus in just six minutes via the Victoria Line, London Waterloo within four minutes and Clapham Junction in five minutes.

If I ever decide to move I think Keybridge would be perfect – it has just about everything you could possibly want in a home and a way of life to go with it. It’s a fusion of traditional London architecture and high-rise Manhattan living, built round a central landscaped courtyard featuring sculptures and water features – perfect!
