Shared Ownership in Staffordshire with Home Reach

The majority of first time buyers claim that saving for a deposit is the biggest hurdle in their home ownership journey, amid reports that the average deposit put down by a first home buyer sits at 24% of the total property price*.

Home Reach is delivering homes with deposits from just 5%, offering homes in Staffordshire with deposits starting from £7,000 – almost £40,000 less than the local area average. Home Reach are bringing a selection of three- and four-bedroom homes to Dracan Village at Drakelow Park in Burton-upon-Trent, exclusively available through Shared Ownership.

Set on the former site of the Drakelow Power Station, the overall masterplan being delivered by Countryside will see a brand-new community, with over 2,000 new homes alongside additional facilities. As part of a major regeneration project, Drakelow Park will eventually feature a local community centre, a two-form entry primary school, a new GP facility and plenty of public open spaces, including a children’s play area. In keeping with the local area, the development will be home to a number of small lakes, streams and woodlands along with a new network of paths to keep the development connected.

Melissa Toomey, Director of Sales for Home Reach, comments:
