To accommodate a surge in demand, Guinness Homes’ housing development Goddard Street, is inviting local Crewe residents to free open days across three dates in July.
Open from 10am-4pm on Friday 11 July, Saturday 12 July and Saturday 19 July, visitors will have the opportunity to tour the homes and explore the local area. The Guinness Homes team will also be on hand to answer any questions.
After a highly successful sales period, the development only has limited homes remaining, all of which are two-bedroom properties.
The homes are available to buy through shared ownership, a government funded scheme that offers a more affordable route to getting on the property ladder. At Goddard Street buyers can purchase a share of the home, between 40% and 75% of the property’s total value. Buyers pay a mortgage only on their share of the home, reduced rent on the remaining shares and a monthly service charge. It typically requires a lower monthly outgoing, and reduced initial deposit, than purchasing a home outright.

With prices starting at £82,000 for a two-bedroom home at a 40% share and are ready to move into straight away, subject to a £99 reservation fee. Deposits are available from as low as 5%.
