Cambridgeshire homebuyers to save thousands as Vistry makes moving more affordable

Homebuyers in Cambridgeshire are set to save thousands in a week-long campaign to make moving with Bovis Homes and Linden Homes more affordable.

Vistry Group will be offering tailor-made incentives worth up to £25,000 at developments under both brands in the county from Monday 23 to Saturday 28 February. Homebuyers will be able to use the money towards a deposit, mortgage contribution, stamp duty or other moving costs.

Anyone moving to a larger home could take advantage of All-Inclusive Home Exchange instead, meaning Vistry would buy their existing property with no estate agency fees, and would pay the stamp duty on their new home.

Alex Stark, managing director for Vistry East Anglia, said: “Our tailor-made incentives campaign has been created in response to feedback from customers across our region. Many need help to make their move achievable, but no two circumstances are the same. By offering a flexible package of incentives, we can find the best way to help each customer individually.”

Sales teams at Bovis Homes developments in Northstowe, Sawtry, Littleport and Ramsey, and Linden Homes developments in Littleport and Ely will be ready to talk through the options available to help people save money on their move.

Aaron Draper and Matilda Marsden-Findlay bought their first home from Bovis Homes.

Aaron said: “The whole house-buying journey was completely stress-free and went as smoothly as clockwork. The customer service we received from Bovis Homes was the best I have encountered. It was flawless.

“We were delighted when we were told that Bovis Homes would give us an incentive. We matched that and were able to put down a healthy deposit which brought the mortgage payments down to a manageable level. We also got free flooring and upgrades to the kitchen and bathroom.”

Alex Stark added: “Vistry is the UK’s leading mixed-tenure housing provider and is known for working with partner organisations to provide private and affordable homes for sale, rent and shared ownership.

“Following the recent interest rate cut, we are receiving more new enquiries from people looking to buy a home privately. This week-long initiative can give them the confidence to make their move to a new Bovis Homes or Linden Homes property.

“We have offers available on a range of homes, including some which have upgraded features and are ready to move into. Our aim is to find a solution for every homebuyer and our teams will be ready to guide visitors through all the options.”

Tailor-made incentives will be available on selected Bovis Homes plots at Bovis Homes at Northstowe, Judith Gardens in Sawtry, Bovis Homes at Quantum Fields in Littleport, and Cromwell Abbey in Ramsey. To find out more, see https://www.bovishomes.co.uk/locations/tailor-made-east-anglia.
