Property experts will be returning this Friday at 11am to help any First Time Buyers with questions they may have about buying their first home. This week’s theme is based on government schemes, where first time buyers can find out about Shared Ownership and Help to Buy. Leading property agent Savills will be joining the online Q&A along with the First Time Buyer team, offering advice from its dedicated Shared Ownership specialist division.
Savills is a committed supporter of the affordable home buying Shared Ownership scheme, which allows first time buyers to purchase a share of their new home, worth between 25% and 75%. Experts from Savills guide first time buyers through the entire sales process, supporting them with their new-build purchase, every step of the way.
The session will be chaired by Lynda Clark, editor of the First Time Buyer Magazine, and will take place via Facebook livestream on Friday 17th April at 11am. As well as Asha Agarwal, Sales Director at Savills, Lynda will be joined on the webinar by independent housing consultant Tony Harker and Adam Crawford, Partner and Head of New Build Homes at Prince Evans Solicitors.
The aim of these online sessions is to offer knowledge to anyone who may be looking to start their journey into homeownership; whether this be looking for tips on how to save for a deposit or trying to understand the schemes and options available to them, now or further down the line. Viewers will be invited to submit their questions both before and during the webinar.
Lynda Clark, Editor of First Time Buyer Magazine, says: “There are an awful lot of people staying at home right now and will be thinking about making plans for the future – and getting on the property ladder may be one of these. At a time when people can’t get out and about, our panel of experts will answer any questions that first time buyers may have. We can help first time buyers understand all the government schemes currently available to them and help give them a head start.”
Asha Agarwal, Sales Director at Savills, comments: “Savills is delighted to be part of the online expert panel to help advise homebuyers on the benefits of government homebuying schemes. Our goal is to raise awareness of Shared Ownership as a viable option for anyone who might be looking for ways to reduce the upfront and long-term costs of home ownership and this helpful Q&A is a great way to find out all the facts amidst the current lock down.”
Lynda adds: “Whether looking this summer, or even next year, knowledge is absolutely the key for anyone considering homeownership, and we believe that there is no better way to learn than by speaking directly to the experts.”
