New research by Crest Nicholson Regeneration has shown that 82% of homebuyers don’t know they are eligible for the Government backed Help to Buy: Equity Loan scheme and 49% of those are first time buyers.
With the aim of educating and guiding first time buyers, Crest Nicholson is hosting a Help to Buy workshop on Saturday 7th September. Potential buyers can go to The Picturehouse, Redhill, Surrey between 10am – 5pm, and uncover information on the various schemes and incentives available to help get them on to the property ladder.
The Picturehouse is a collection of 133 one and two bedroom apartments due for completion 2020, which are already proving popular with buyers in the Redhill and Croydon area. The Help to Buy scheme is available on all apartments. The apartments come with integrated appliances, and the master bedrooms have en suite bathrooms and fitted wardrobes. With good connections and direct trains into central London, it’s perfect for commuters.
A one bedroom apartment starts at £255,000, with just a 5% deposit. Crest Nicholson is also offering to cover the cost of an annual railcard for homebuyers.
