First time buyers currently staying at home during the ongoing COVID-19 restrictions may be wishing that they owned their own four walls.  With a perception that the property market may have halted, aspiring homebuyers could be wondering what options are even available to them.  This Friday at 11am, property experts will once again be coming together to host a webinar dedicated to help first time buyers at this time. This session will be focussed on homebuying options available amidst the current pandemic.

Lynda Clark, editor of First Time Buyer Magazine, will host the webinar along with Asha Agarwal from Savills. This week’s experts include Sandy Macmillan from Property Booking, Adam Crawford of Prince Evans Solicitors and Rupi Hunjan, Director at Censeo Financial.

Lynda Clark says: “Whilst the perception may be that the property market has entirely ground to a halt, there is actually a huge amount of work being done to help first time buyers currently looking to buy their first home. We have seen an incredible surge in the number of people undertaking virtual viewings and even processes like valuations are being looked at remotely. We are seeing lenders extending their mortgage offers for three months, and of course some very low interest rates currently available. So, the reality is that it is an excellent time to be getting as much of the practical leg work done now and allowing yourself to be in a great position to move when restrictions are lifted.”

The aim of  the weekly webinar is to offer insight and knowledge to anyone who may be looking to start their journey into homeownership; whether this be looking for tips on how to save for a deposit or trying to understand the schemes and options available to them, now or further down the line. Viewers are invited to submit their questions both before and during the webinar.

Lynda Clark, Editor of First Time Buyer Magazine, says: “Every week we welcome more and more first time buyers to our online Q&A sessions. The simple format works really well under the current restrictions and we expect to see participation numbers continue to grow as aspiring first time buyers look to have all their questions answered.”

The next First Time Buyer Q&A Webinar will be held on Friday 1st May at 11am on Zoom. To join the session, you can tune in via Facebook Live on the official Facebook page
